Visionis, Inc is an organization created in June 16, 2009 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for the purpose of providing continuing professional education to Certified Public Accountants, and the Internal audit profession.
Activities in support of this mission will include, but will not be limited to:
–Advocating and promoting the value that audit and accounting professionals add to their organization.
–Providing comprehensive professional educational and development opportunities, standards and other professional practice guidance, and certification programs.
–Promoting to practitioners and stakeholders knowledge concerning auditing and its appropriate role in control, risk, management, and governance.
–Educating practitioners and other relevant audiences on best practices in auditing, accounting, taxes and other areas.
Visionis is administer by its president Néstor Kercadó, CPA, CIA, CFE. As educator of the profession, we provide multiple seminars, trainings and conference during a year in order to provide professionals with the skills, knowledge and necessary tools to develop their expertise and enable them to apply this knowledge in their respective jobs. 5
Our professional educators are voluntaries that work in the industry (internal audit) or provide professional services as local CPA firms or as Certified Internal Auditors (CIA). A qualified instructor is an individual who possess a great degree of experience (3 or more years) in internal/external auditing, accounting, management, information systems, fraud investigations, internal controls and other topics that are interest of ours professionals. These instructor are experts in the topic that the are presenting and usually possess certifications (CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA, ESQ, etc) regarding their expertise area.
